Swedish Massage

A relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork to help the body improve its circulation.  Other benefits include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, greater flexibility, and improved appearance.

Orthopedic Massage

A style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Chair Massage

A popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than traditional massage, making it convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

Wellness Coaching

A wellness coach is your partner to help you reach your peak wellness.  Benefits of having a wellness coach include but are not limited to helping you draw a personal wellness blueprint, harnessing the strengths you need to overcome obstacles, guidance in mindful thinking, and inspiring/challenging you to go beyond what you would do alone.  

 

 

The Wellness Retreat

Per person: $30

                                                         CELEBRATE SELF-CARE!

The Wellness Retreat is a social-wellness event that facilitates mindful engagement in self-care activities for improved wellness.  At The Wellness Retreat, enjoy a pleasant atmosphere of socialization with aromas and soothing music while engaging in DIY facials, mini chair massages, mini manicures, and nutritional appetizers. The retreat can take place at a place of your choice or at a facility secured by The Purple Orchid. 

 

The Gift Cafe

The Gift Cafe' features retail wellness items known as a POP of colour such as flaxseed warming pillows, moisturizing bath bombs, moisturizing hand soap scrubs, and candles to supplement our wellness services.  Look for The Gift Cafe' at local expo/vendor events.
